Closeboard Fencing
Closeboard fences offer a robust fence which has no gaps to offer more privacy. They are built using featheredged planks that are nailed to the rails offering a close knit and secure finish. This style of fence can either use concrete or wooden posts, and generally comes with gravel boards.
Panel Fencing
Fencing panels are made to suit different budgets, and consequently have different attributes. The most common is the medium weight panel and are fully framed. Some lighter weight panels do not have the batten covering the bottom of the panel. Fence panels usually come in three different colours: light beige, the traditional orange brown or a darker brown finish. They are generally erected with timber posts and timber gravel boards.
Palisade Fencing
Palisade fences, also known as picket fences, are used when an unobtrrusive fencing solution is required. Palisade fencing is normally available at heights up to 1500mm, and the height of the fence is usually determined by practical considerations, for example where pets are concerned. There are three types of tops the the palisades, pointed, rounded or squared, and are usually fitted with timber posts.
Post and Rail
Post and rail is a generic term usually used to describe any fencing system comprising of solid timber rails. Post and rail fences are usually used for large distances and offer an attractive livestock barrier.
